Gen Con 2014 marked our third year attending the convention! As always, it was a really fun experience. That year a few friends from our gaming group attended the Con for the first time. Highlights from 2014’s convention include:
- Playing D&D. Our GM was awesome and we had a wonderful time.
- Going to AEG’s Big Game night. I played Thunderstone Advance for the first time and immediately fell in love. Also, the swag bag we received from AEG was full of awesome goodies.
- Getting rid of our Magic The Gathering card collection. We haven’t played Magic in years, so we decided on selling all of our cards at Gen Con. We made about 600 bucks! That was really awesome profit for something that was collecting dust in the home.

- Journey to Indianapolis! Super thankful that my sister came along with us to watch our little guy, so mom and dad could play a few games together.
